About Me

living in detriment: I grew up in Indiana. We had red carpeting in the upstairs hallway that ran all the way down the stairs. I remember sitting on the steps when I was a kid, picking at the red carpeting and telling my sister that the only thing in the world I wanted to do was to travel.

Then I did that.

And I found myself with lots of questions. And after working multiple jobs, studying multiple languages, and visiting multiple countries I decided that I wanted to be part of the discourse of academia.

So then I did that.

But when I was done, there wasn't anything left that I wanted to do.

So I stopped doing things that were interesting. And my life got really hard. And I started wondering why I had run out of things I wanted to do. And I still haven't figured that out. But I started drawing pictures. and taking pictures. and studying birds. and studying human design.

and now I'm about to start a blog, so that I have a place to pull it all together.

When I find something I actually want to do, I guess I'll go do that instead.

Everything I post was taken, drawn, painting, or created by me, unless otherwise noted.
